This session will explore how to effectively integrate Project-Based Learning (PBL) into the classroom using themes from PLTW (Project Lead The Way) and Savaas. We'll start with the basics to ensure a strong foundation, then provide practical examples of how to align PLTW and Savaas while discussing cross-disciplinary opportunities. Participants will learn to create grade-level connections between PLTW and Savaas, with breakout groups for focused discussions. An overview of PBL and a formula to integrate it seamlessly into your curriculum will be discussed, highlighting how to create PBL experiences. The session will include specific examples and cross-curricular opportunities and conclude with participants having a fleshed-out Unit 1 and actionable takeaways. Join us and discover how PLTW and Savaas can enhance your PBL initiatives, making learning as delightful as PB & Jelly!
