Ins for 2024: Accessibility, inclusion, UDL. Outs for 2024: Inaccessible content, disengaging lessons, and struggling when we don't have to! Our learners’ brains are as unique as their fingertips-as are their needs. As more districts leverage Google tools and author their own instructional materials, it is critical that materials are universally designed and flexible to support learners' needs. This session explores how to leverage built-in assistive features in Chrome/Chromebooks, as well as accessible design tips with a UDL lens. By the end of the session, attendees will recognize the value of accessible design, have specific design strategies, experience applying tools, and develop plans for future implementation. Rock your era of accessibility now!
