Senate Bill 35 (SB35) was passed last summer and requires all school corporations, charter schools, and state accredited nonpublic schools to provide a semester long personal financial responsibility course for high school students. This bill means that all students graduating in 2028 or later have taken this course prior to their graduation. These students begin their freshman year in 2024-2025 so schools are considering their options NOW on how to meet this new requirement.

Junior Achievement has been working with JA USA to develop a course that combines portions of the in-school Financial Literacy semester long course with JA Finance Park Advanced.
