HQIM: What It Is and How to Use It

A variety or resources are available to supplement curriculum, but how do you know what is the best quality? Dr. Flores will explore the idea of high quality instructional materials (HQIM). She will highlight the key considerations for selecting and using HQIM including resources and sample rubrics. Educators will have the opportunity to review sample content for alignment and make judgements about quality based on the discussion.

Dr. Flores served at the Indiana Department of Education for over a decade most recently as Chief Academic Officer. She currently serves as a consultant supporting districts, schools and educators with strategic planning, curriculum and assessment needs.
